Insulated and sheathed in PVC Copper Cable

NYM-O and NYM-J Cables have a voltage rating of 300/500V are supplied in single cores from 1.5mm2 through to 35mm2, and multi cores to 12 cores as detailed in the technical datasheets.                                              Insulated and sheathed in PVC, the insulation dictates a maximum conductor operating temperature of +70oC, the NYM cable can be laid on cable tray, in ducting, or in walls, in line with relevant national building regulations.

Conductors:  Class1 solid copper or Class2 of plain annealed stranded copper  

Insulation:  Polyvinyl chloride PVC

Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride PVC 

Voltage Rating (Uo/U) 300/500V  Test Voltage  2kV for 5 minutes

3 core: Green/Yellow+Blue+Brown

4 core: Green/Yellow+Brown+Black+Grey

5 core: Green/Yellow+Blue+Brown+Black+Grey

NYM-O

2 core: Blue +Brown

4 core: Blue+Brown+Black+Grey

Maximal operating conductor Temperature: up to 70℃(PVC insulation); up to 90(XLPE insulation)

Operating Temperature Range: -5℃(PVC or LSZH sheath); -20℃(PE sheath)

Short Circuit Temperature(5 seconds maximum duration): 140-160℃(PVC insulation);250℃(XLPE insulation)
